MD11 of VARIG

This VARIG MD11 msn 48540 Line Number 611 was delivered new to Swissair on 11th March 1997 registered as HB-IWO being transferred to Swiss International Airlines when Swiss went bankrupt. The aircraft was stored in 2004 and sold to Varig on 1st August 2004 when it was registered as PP-VTK. The aircraft was withdrawn from VARIG on 3rd January 2007 and was sold to UPS on 15th February 2007 where it was converted to a freighter and registered N288UP. The aircraft is powered by 3 Pratt & Whitney PW4460 engines.
